The Resuscitation Commission intends to hold its first Winter Forum in 2008 in collaboration with Iranian Heart Association, Anesthesiology Association, Emergency Medicine, and Cardiovascular Nurses Association. Developing a calm dynamic atmosphere, The Commission seeks to provide a context for interaction between the intellectuals actively contributing to the resuscitation practice, to challenge the problems preventing successful resuscitation, and to utilize collective potentials in order to reach novel solutions and to develop a national resuscitation vision for the next 10 years. After experts specified the goals of the Commission, members of main associations took part in opinion polls of the Commission during 3 annual congresses of Emergency Medicine (29 May, 2007), Anesthesiology (26 Oct, 2007), and Cardiovascular Diseases (23 Nov, 2007).
The main needs, concerns and priorities of participants were summarized in the following areas:

• Education
• Quality Improvement of Therapeutic Management
• Technical Equipment
• Policy-Making

In a series of seminars titled “Resuscitation in 90s”, experts gather to respond to the target population concerns.
